The Israeli Ministry of Helath and the Home Front Command organize the second International Conference on  Preparedness and Response to Emergencies and Diasters in Israel in Israel in 15-19 January 2012.

The Conference aims to provide a platform for exchanging ideas, experience and lessons learned for professionals and researchers involved in the field of preparedness and response to emergencies and disasters, to promote international networking between health professionals in the field and enhancing interaction with the reseatch community in the field worldwide.

IPRED II counted with about 700 participants, among them 250 from abroad Israel, over two days of conference. The conference dealt with a large spectrum of disaster prepardness and response issues. The ESS project presented to the IPRED II participants by MDA (Il) through a poster placed in the first raw in the main conference hall, and created a lot of interest, due to it's innovative concept and planned achievements.
