Players: The Fire authorities of Gard department (CODIS 30), the Prefecture of Gard, the national and local Police (CORG), the Gard Prefecture, the French Weather Service (Meteo France), and the Department for hydrological risk management of the City of Nîmes (ESPADA) will interact operationally using the ESS system during this test.
Summary
Built in the south-east of Nîmes in South France, Stade des Costières is the stadium of the local football team Nimes Olympique able to hold bit less than 20000 people. The region of Gard and the particular area where the Stadium is located experience flood events almost every year, despite the prevention and mitigation measures taken by the Local and Regional Authorities. The envisaged ESS scenario refers to a flood event following heavy rainfalls which threatens to inundate the area of the stadium which is full due to an international football match in progress.

Players:The Fire authorities of Alpes de Hautes Provence department (CODIS04), the SaR team (SAP), Technological Risk Experts Group (RT), Clean-up group (DEPOL), Operational and Information Center of Police (CORG), Departmental Operational center of Alpes de Hautes – Prefecture (COD), Company of Highways of the South of France (ESCOTA) and the Comune of Sisteron will actively participate in the demonstration.
Summary
Sisteron is located in Alpes de Haute Provence in Southern France. The scenario that will be demonstrated and tested refers to an accident in the national road A51 in front of a road tunnel (Tunnel de la Baume) involving a truck transporting dangerous substances. The situation includes injured people, blockage of the local traffic, formation of a toxic cloud which threatens the inhabitants of Sisteron, and leakage of the chemical truck load to the adjacent river. |

Summary
The Sospel/Vescavo scenario for demonstrating ESS considers an air-crash in a forested area next to the village Sospel located near the French-Italian borders. The situation includes victims spread in the crash location, a forest fire start which spread from France to the French-Italian borders, an explosion and formation of toxic cloud directed towards an Italian village (Vescavo) next to the borderline. The Fire authorities (CODIS), the Community of Sospel and Vescavo, the local Police (CORG) and the Regional Authorities (COD) will be actively involved in the planned demonstration. Italian Fire brigades (Vigili del Fuoco) will also participate in the tests. |
