Players:The Fire authorities of Alpes de Hautes Provence department (CODIS04), the SaR team (SAP), Technological Risk Experts Group (RT), Clean-up group (DEPOL), Operational and Information Center of Police (CORG), Departmental Operational center of Alpes de Hautes – Prefecture (COD), Company of Highways of the South of France (ESCOTA) and the  Comune of Sisteron will actively participate in the demonstration.

 

Summary

Sisteron is located in Alpes de Haute Provence in Southern France. The scenario that will be demonstrated and tested refers to an accident in the national road A51 in front of a road tunnel (Tunnel de la Baume) involving a truck transporting dangerous substances. The situation includes injured people, blockage of the local traffic, formation of a toxic cloud which threatens the inhabitants of Sisteron, and leakage of the chemical truck load to the adjacent river.
