The fourth annual security research conference (Sep 22, 2010 to Sep 24, 2010 - Ostend / Belgium) is organised by the European Commission, the Federal Directorate for Science Policy, the Federal Directorate of Transport and Mobility and the EWI department. With a wide interpretation of the subject “security research”, the conference hopes to attract a very broad target audience of policy makers, researchers and industry representatives. Topics covered during the conference are “logistical cooperation between police forces”, “linking of databases” and “protection of container ports and border control”.
